2012 Fireman Of The Year was awarded to: Lieutenant John Tinari
Lt. Tinari served on the Crabfest as Chairman last year, he is in charge of day to day duties as an fireground operations officer of the company and also First Aid & CPR Training for the company members. Thank you and Congratulations John for all your hard work!
2012 Officer Of The Year was awarded to: Secretary Cheryl Zwigart
Secretary Zwigart served on the Crabfest many years and held various positions for the fire company. She is in her 5th year as Secretary for the company. Thank you for all your hard work as well!

BUSY DAY FOR THE PAXTANG BOYS IN HAMPDEN TWP.
Sunday, January 20, 2013 – Rescue 40 was dispatched at 1233 hrs. to transfer and standby at Hampden Twp. (Cumberland County) Station 30-2 while they were working an incident in Shiremanstown Borough for a house fire. While enroute to the West Shore, the Rescue was dispatched in Silver Spring Twp. for a possible fire. The Rescue arrived on scene and was then returned by Command 31. Rescue 40 arrived back at Station 30-2 to copy and respond to another call this time in Hampdens First Due 30-6 Box for an Outside Fire, Crews arrived and quickly extinguished the trash can fire with no further services needed the Rescue returned to Station 30-2 to standby for the remainder of time that was needed.
