It is in the interest of the Paxtang Fire Company to keep the general public informed as much as possible. Through this site it is our intent to not only keep our fellow members of the fire service family informed of what we are doing, it is also our intent and more importantly to keep the general public informed. At times in our news on this site we will mention words that the typical citizen may not understand. Hopefully this dictionary will assist you in deciphering the sometimes complicating words, abbreviations, and slang terms we may use in our day to day work as a firefighter.
